What is the Child Care Subsidy?
The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is an Australian Government payment that helps families with the cost of childcare. Greenhills Explorers is an approved provider, which means your subsidy is paid directly to us, reducing your out-of-pocket costs.
The amount of subsidy you receive depends on three factors:
Family Income
Your combined family income affects your subsidy percentage.
Activity Level
Hours spent working, studying, or volunteering.
Service Type
The type of childcare you use (centre-based, family day care, etc).
2024-25 CCS Rates
Rates decrease by 1% for each $5,000 above $83,280.

How to Apply for CCS
Follow these steps to apply for the Child Care Subsidy.
Create a myGov Account
If you don't already have one, create a myGov account and link it to Centrelink.
Go to myGovComplete CCS Assessment
Submit your CCS claim through your Centrelink online account. You'll need your child's details and your activity information.
Get Your CRN
You'll receive a Customer Reference Number (CRN) for yourself and your child. You'll need to provide these to us.
Confirm with Us
Provide your CRN numbers when you enrol. We'll confirm your enrolment with Centrelink and your subsidy will be applied.
